The FastFind and FastFind Plus are revolutionary hand-held Personal Locator Beacons that feature a powerful 5-watt 406 MHz transmitter and 121.5 MHz homing beacon transmitter (Plus models also have a built-in 12-channel GPS receiver). In the event of an emergency, an alert signal is transmitted to Cospas-Sarsat satellites and forwarded to latitude and longitude coordinates to report position typically within 98 ft., anywhere in the world. The McMurdo Search and Rescue Transponder (SART) is a 9GHz receiver/transmitter. On receiving a pulse from any standard 9 GHz X-band radar, the SART immediately transmits a signal which clearly indicates the survival craft on the radar screen by means of a series of 12 in-line dots. Once activated, the SART will remain in standby mode for over 96 hours.

The S4 SART is fully approved and has been designed for assisting in air/sea rescue operations in accordance with IMO, GMDSS requirements.
